1. Team Composition: Each team consists of six players, including one goalkeeper.

2. Match Duration: Matches are going to be played in two halves, lasting 20 minutes each.

3. Substitutions: Unlimited rolling substitutions, enabling teams to rotate players freely during the game.

4. Field Size: The playing field is smaller than a standard football pitch, usually around 40-60 meters long and 20-40 meters wide.

5. Offside Rule: The offside rule may or may not be enforced, depending on the specific league or format.

6. Fouls and Free Kicks: Fouls result in free kicks. Direct free kicks are awarded for serious fouls, while indirect free kicks are given for less serious infractions.

7. Penalty Kicks: Penalties are awarded for fouls committed inside the penalty area, taken from a designated spot (usually 7-9 meters from the goal).

8. Goalkeeper Rules: Goalkeepers are allowed to handle the ball within their area, but they must release it within a set time (usually 6 seconds) once they gain possession. No drop kicks, keepers must roll from their hands or kick from the floor.

9. Corner Kicks: Corner kicks are awarded if the ball goes out of play over the goal line, last touched by a defender.

10. Goal Scoring: A goal is scored when the entire ball crosses the goal line between the goalposts and beneath the crossbar.

11. Balls from the sidelines will be over the head throw-ins.

12. Under 8/9's & 10/11's - Opponent players must stand behind the referee on goal kicks to allow space for the team to play.

13. Under 8/9's & 10/11's - No headers are allowed.

These rules create a fast-paced, exciting game that emphasizes skill and teamwork!

THE KEY RULES FOR FUTSAL

1. Team Composition: Each team consists of five players, including one goalkeeper.

2. Match Duration: A futsal match is played in two halves of 20 minutes each. The clock stops for stoppages in play.

3. Kick-ins: When the ball goes out of play over the sideline, it is restarted with a kick-in rather than a throw-in.

4. Goalkeeper Restrictions: The goalkeeper cannot touch the ball with their hands outside the penalty area. They have 4 seconds to release the ball after gaining possession.

5. Fouls: Teams accumulate fouls, with the sixth foul in a half resulting in a direct free kick for the opposing team from the second penalty mark (10 meters from the goal).

6. Free Kicks: Direct free kicks can be taken directly at the goal, while indirect free kicks require a touch from another player before a goal can be scored.

7. Penalties: Penalty kicks are awarded for certain fouls committed inside the penalty area, taken from 10 meters away.

8. Substitutions: Teams can make unlimited "flying substitutions" at any time during the match, allowing for quick player changes without stoppage.

9. Out of Play: The ball is out of play when it completely crosses the goal line or sideline.

10. Scoring: A goal is scored when the entire ball crosses the goal line between the goalposts and beneath the crossbar.
